The face-lift on the inside of our home is now complete. It is refreshing to see the newly re-furbished walls. Our son, Chris did such a marvelous job of re-creating
our little humble castle into something beautiful to behold.
We also rearranged the
furniture in our living room to open up the room to create a place that is more inviting. When you start a project it leads to other ideas and projects and it takes on a life of its own which inspires me to a new vision for our home.
After we save a little more money, Chris is going to remove the carpeting in our bedroom and in our office
computer room and replace it with tile or wood laminate. I like the idea of having no carpet in these rooms as it will be easy to maintain and clean. He has already replaced the carpet in one of the bedrooms with floor tile. It looks terrific. After replacing
these rooms with tile or wood laminate the only carpet we will have is in the hallways and living room. I can hardly wait to see the finished floors.
As for now my husband, Cliff and I are busy with outside lawn and garden work. The weather is in our favor so I will be planting our garden next week. I love planting and playing in the dirt. It
refreshes my spirit.
It smells of summer outside. We enjoy sitting on our deck and
soaking in the rays of God's sunshine, while we watch our Annie Dog splash in her wade pool. I have a grateful heart today for how God continues to bless our lives with the love of family, friends, and the enjoyment of our pets. “This is the day that
the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it.” Psalm 118-24
