Our Mechanic Angels

For He will give His angels charge concerning you, to guard you in all your ways. Psalm 91: 11

A number of years ago my mother was going through chemotherapy treatment for lung cancer. The closest cancer medical treatment center was 120 miles from our home in Cut Bank. It required that mom and I travel the 120 miles every three weeks for her treatments. We were able to stay in a place where they provided a small apartment for cancer patients and their caregivers.

On one of the trips back home, on a secondary highway, my car began to lose power and the engine started to bang and make all kinds of noise which indicated that the car was about to die on the spot. My mom was tired and not feeling well and I knew it would not be good for her if we were stalled on the side of the road.

I began to pray asking the holy angels to come to our assistance and to fix and hold the car engine together until we arrived home. We chugged along about a mile or two and it seemed like all of a sudden the engine started to smooth out, gain power, and ran smoothly all the way home. We were thanking God for sending us angels to assist us.

The next day, I brought my car into the mechanic shop to have it checked out. To my pleasant surprise the mechanic could not find a single issue with the engine. That day we had angel mechanics fix my car better than it was before.

Let us Pray: I thank you Father for sending us your heavenly angels to come to our assistance each day. Let me always remember to call upon God for help in all my coming and goings.

The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, and rescues them. Psalm: 35:7
