“A faithful friend is a sturdy shelter” she who finds one finds a treasure. A faithful friend is beyond price; no sum can balance her worth; A faithful
friend is a life-saving remedy, such as she who fears God finds; For she who fears God behaves accordingly and her friends will be like herself !”
Sirach 6: 14-17
I am so grateful for my friends, who during my recent illness, prayed, supported me and loved me where I am at. The above words from Sirach
says it all. I am so thankful for my friends. I have come to realize that is not about accomplishing some wonderful project or goal but it is in how we love and care for one another each day.
We are all going through difficult challenges. But with Jesus, the Holy Saints and angels and especially faithful friends, we can get through the tough times. When we share our burdens with one another and pray for one another, it lessens
the load. We come to realize that we are not alone.
God our Father created each of us with a desire to be in relationship with the Holy Trinity and with one another.
“Praise the Lord. Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.:”

“Oil and perfume make the heart glad, and the sweetness
of a friend comes from his (her) earnest counsel.” Proverbs: 27:9
